TRAI cuts mobile termination charges 57%; eyes waiver by ’20

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India on Tuesday sliced versatile end charges (MTC) by 57% to 6 paise every moment with impact from October 1, in a move that is probably going to prompt a diminishment in call rates.

The controller included that these charges would be totally discarded January 1, 2020 onwards.
