Pak summons Indian deputy HC over ceasefire violations on LoC
Pakistan on Thursday summoned the Indian Deputy High Commissioner at the Foreign Office in Islamabad to denounce the claimed truce infringement by Indian powers on hold of Control.
"The Director General (SA and SAARC) Mohammad Faisal summoned the Indian Deputy High Commissioner Mr. J.P. Singh and denounced the unjustifiable truce infringement by the Indian occupation powers in Phuklian Sector on 13 September bringing about the shahadat (passing) of 2 regular people, 35 years of age Muhammad Zahoor, inhabitant of town Dewara and Reshma Bibi, occupant of town Kakran, and wounds to 3 others," a Foreign Office articulation said.
India kept on enjoying truce infringement, notwithstanding calls for restriction, the announcement said. "In 2017 to date, Indian powers have completed more than 700 truce infringement along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary, bringing about the Shahadats of 32 guiltless regular citizens and wounds to 116, when contrasted with 382 truce infringement in 2016," the announcement watched.
It condemned the ponder focusing of regular citizens naming it in opposition to human respect and universal human rights and compassionate laws.
The Director General encouraged the Indian side to regard the 2003 Ceasefire course of action; explore this and different episodes of truce infringement; teach the Indian powers to regard the truce, in letter and soul and keep up peace on the LoC and Working Boundary. He asked that the Indian side should allow UNMOGIP to assume its commanded part according to the UN Security Council resolutions.
