Govt. to conduct survey of 25 cities for developing ring roads

The State Cabinet, on Wednesday, chose to constitute an enabled board for advancement of ring streets in 25 locale central command under the Town Planning Scheme.

The panel has been given five-year term and the evaluated cost of the overview is ₹275 crore.

The board will be going by the Additional Chief Secretary of Urban Development and will have secretaries of Finance, Planning, Municipal Administration and related divisions as individuals to lead an overview and present an answer to the state government, T.B. Jayachandra, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, told columnists after the Cabinet meeting.
